We often tell ourselves we need a new planner, more self-discipline, or more time in the day.
But what if the problem isn’t your calendar? What if you’re not “bad at time management”? What if you’re just really uncomfortable saying no, or every task feels like it needs to be done perfectly?
Coaching isn’t about helping you color-code your to-do list. It’s about getting to the heart of what’s really going on.
Because once you understand why you jam-pack your day, managing your time becomes so much easier.
One of my clients came to me for help with “time management.” She needed support fitting everything in and sticking to a plan. But after digging in, we uncovered the real issue. She was saying yes to everything and trying to be perfect at everything. It wasn’t a scheduling problem — it was perfectionism and a fear of letting others down. Once we got to the root of it and built tools to support her, time management became much less of a struggle.
What we do in coaching:
☑️ Get to the root of the problem, so we can work with what’s actually going on and bring awareness to the beliefs and patterns behind it (with curiosity and love and without judgement).
☑️ Find tools that help you overcome whatever you’re struggling with — For example, saying no, creating boundaries, learning to be with downtime, or letting go of perfectionism.
☑️ Put practices in place to support you when these patterns reappear (because they usually do — and that’s okay).
If you’ve been trying to fix something on the surface — like procrastinating, running late, feeling behind or stuck — but nothing is working, the real issue might surprise you. That’s what coaching is for — getting to the root to find a solution that actually helps. If something feels hard and you’re not sure why, let’s talk. You don’t have to do this on your own 💗
